Russia and India Connect – 2017

India and Russia are to celebrate 70 years of diplomatic ties in 2017, as part of celebration and to further strengthen our strategic partnership, we are glad to inaugurate “Russian and India Connect – 2017” (RIC- 2017), 1st edition of Russia & India IT industries conference to be held on 24th February at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai, Tamil Nadu (South India).

Penetration of internet and smart phone usage is moving to 50% of the population in India resulting in dramatic growth of IT business in the next 2-3 years. Eventually, India will need prospective national business solutions leading to big demand for IT services in the Public IT sector like National Search Engines, National Broadcasters, National Content Aggregators, Cyber Security including Antivirus Systems, Game Developing, App Developing. These are fields where Russians succeed to compete with international MNCs.

Russia and India Connect - 2017 organised by Indo – Russian IT Association, India (IRITA), with the Support of Consulate General of Russian Federation in Chennai, National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM).

Russia and India Connect - 2017 will showcase Russia as the destination for IT Industry, for this purpose on behalf of RIC-2017 committee, we would like to extend our proposal for supporting organiser for Russia and India Connect– 2017 and would like to invite to be our distinguished guest for inauguration of 1st edition of Russian and India Connect conference.

Russia and India Connect - 2017 , will be the 1st edition of premier conference/ expo for exploring the connections and business opportunities related to IT business between India and Russia followed by exchange of technology implementation in government organizations and universities from the perspective of Indo-Russian friendship, engagement to new technologies, supercomputer, research, investment activities, policy and shifts in the business environment.

Russia and India Connect - 2017 will be conducted in Chennai, which is one of the South Indian hub for IT Industry in India whilst, Hyderabad and Bangalore make the silicon valley of India. Therefore, we would also be glad to arrange an onsite visit to South Indian IT Companies located in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad for Russian delegates.

Russia and India Connect - 2017 will create a comfortable environment for Russian IT Industry leaders to succeed in building businesses that are effective and competitive to transnational corporations within Russia and CIS countries to help them find new markets for their products, new investors interested in the transfer of Russian technology and new clusters of experienced developers worth investing from Russia and be used as IT outsource.

Russia and India Connect - 2017 provides a platform for Russian Federation to present the country’s investment policy and about Innopolis SEZ, the investment hub and the future IT capital of Russia.

Russia and India Connect - 2017 gives an opportunity to Russia’s IT business leaders of successful businesses to establish a partnership with Indian counterparts to expand and develop business to compete with multinational companies.

India with its years of experience of being a platform for outsourcing has a rich resource of the talent pool and potential that can be utilised to build an independent, big scale of national level projects. This Conference is an attempt to channelize the well qualified Indian IT human resource for the benefit of India using the experience and competence of Russia.
